Texas Jack and Josephine: A Love Story

Long about 1870 or so, a young cowboy from rural Virginia found himself on quite a wild ride out West on the old frontier. Texas Jack, born John B. Omohundro, was an actor, journalist, scout, and consummate showman. His compadres included “Buffalo Bill” Cody, “Wild Bill” Hickok and “California Joe” Milner. Jack’s adventures were many, but he only had one love: Josephine Morlacchi, a world-famous ballerina and actress from Milan, Italy. Josephine’s innate elegance was equal to her talent and together they won the West – and beyond.

Jack and Josephine toured together, entertained together, and were married in 1873. Jack’s Ranch celebrates their lively spirit, the joining of their two worlds and their fantastic love of life and each other. Ciao, bella!
